Austin Seeing Another Business Moving In
Austin has long been a hot spot for business and this year has seen another explosion of companies deciding to make the heart of Texas their home. The newest face in the neighborhood, Mass Relevance, is making plans for a November move-in to their new home.
The company is another start-up that is blazing through the social networking trail. The company currently has 170 clients including MTV Networks and CNN for whom they will amass their social media. Their proprietary software enticed Twitter to take notice last year. Once on board, Mass Relevance was able to incorporate Twitter streams into platforms such as television, internet and mobile devices, thus enabling them to include live tweet streams.
CNN announced last week that they will be partnering with social networking giant, Facebook and Mass Relevance. In pairing with the two companies, they are making plans for launching Facebook-CNN Election Insights. This will allow CNN to gauge the volume of Facebook activity based around the 2012 elections and its candidates.
The company is looking to make their employees want to come to work and plan to do so by including plenty of space to play. The 12,000 square foot space will include ping pong tables, darts, video consoles and a full kitchen. Not only will they have lunches prepared for them daily by the company’s head of health and fitness, but there will also be in-house exercise classes and showers to accommodate employees who choose to ride their bikes to work or take the classes offered.
