John McDuff brings more than 30 years of experience to your business or tax-related transaction or litigation matter, and has worked on cases involving up to twenty million dollars. He provides the sophisticated legal counsel that mid-size and small businesses in Central Texas require in a competitive environment. He skillfully helps clients grow their businesses, resolve business disputes in their best interests, minimize taxes in response to audits, and defend Tax Collection actions.
John McDuff’s work has been well recognized by his clients, and he has been rated AV* in Martindale-Hubbell’s peer review rating system. Mr. McDuff, also a licensed CPA, worked as an accountant for Price Waterhouse for a couple of years before attending law school at the University of Texas. He previously served as a Naval Officer on a nuclear submarine at the height of the Cold War.
John established his solo practice upon graduation. He is a member of the Austin Bar Association, the State Bar of Texas, and the American Bar Association.
