“As a solo attorney I do not have the overhead of comparable representation at a major law firm. That means no junior associates juggling your case, no layers of lawyers to get answers to questions. You work directly with me, start to finish. I file the motions. I draft the contracts. I litigate the cases. You will always have a one-on-one relationship with your attorney when you hire me.” – John McDuff

Educational and Professional Background

McDuff graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1969 with a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.). Before going to law school at the University of Texas, McDuff worked as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for Price Waterhouse, giving him a real-world understanding of his clients’ challenges, including the negative impact of disputes and the importance of resolving conflict favorably in a timely manner. In 1976, he earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from the University of Texas Law School in Austin, Texas. Before becoming a full-time solo practitioner, John McDuff served as a Lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Submarine Service.
